FAQs: Switching to the New MHR Fitness App
We know moving to a new booking system can bring up a few questions. To make things easier, we’ve put together some FAQs to guide you through the switch to our new MHR Fitness app.
When will the new booking system go live?
Our new MHR Fitness App will come into use from 1st September 2025. Up until then, please continue to use the MindBody app. After 1st September you’ll no longer need the MindBody app for any MHR bookings.
How will I know when to download the new app? The migration process will begin on Tuesday 26th August and continue throughout Wednesday 27th August. Once your details are migrated, you’ll receive an automated email with the link to download the new app. It will be available on both iOS and Android.
Will I need to do anything apart from download the app? No. All your personal details will be securely transferred from MindBody, so there’s nothing else you need to do.
Will my sessions appear as soon as I log in to the new app? Once everyone’s details are migrated, the MHR team will manually book everyone into their sessions from September onwards. If you don’t see your usual session straight away, please bear with us — we’ll be updating the timetable as quickly as possible.
I usually message a coach directly — does the new app change anything? Yes, and it’s a positive change. The new app has a built-in messaging feature so you can contact the coaching team directly in one place. This means your messages won’t get lost across WhatsApp or Instagram, and you’ll receive quicker, more consistent replies. It also allows the coaches proper time to switch off outside of work, which we know our members will support. For anything urgent, you can also email us at info@mhrfitness.com.
I’m a 1-1 or 2-1 client — do I still need the app? Yes. No matter what membership you have, the app is the easiest way to stay up to date and contact the team. Your sessions will also be added to the app, giving you handy reminders and keeping all of your appointments in one place.
If I want to rearrange a session in the following month, can I do that? Yes. The new app allows you to move your future sessions up to one month in advance.
Will my reassessments and events (like the Gut Health talk) still be valid? Absolutely. All future bookings will be transferred over to the new app.
Do I still need to use my credits within the same month? Yes. To keep the timetable accurate and fair for everyone, monthly credits will still need to be used within your payment month.
Do I have to log my own weights and reps in the app? Not at all. This feature is optional. If you’d like to track your progress yourself, great, it helps free the coaches up to spend more time coaching. But if you’d rather leave it to us, the team will continue logging your weights as usual.
